Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a major mining asset owner delivering a large-scale brownfield upgrade in regional Queensland. The project is now in full execution phase and they’re building a team focused on delivering real outcomes on site.

This isn’t a desk job. It’s hands-on, site-based engineering across a program that includes major projects, sustaining capital and ongoing infrastructure upgrades.

This position is offered on a residential basis only, with relocation support and additional benefits to help you make the move seamlessly.

The Role
You’ll take ownership of Civil / Structural scope (depending on your discipline) across a live and complex site, working closely with project teams and contractors to ensure safe, efficient and compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil and/or structural packages in line with project specifications, standards and site requirements
• Develop and implement construction work packs for site execution
• Act as the key point of contact for design queries and technical clarifications
• Maintain engineering documentation and support safe work practices
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers and contractors to drive delivery outcomes

What They’re Looking For

• Degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Experience across mining, heavy industry or infrastrucutre environments
• Strong problem-solving ability with a high level of attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and ability to support construction delivery
• Proven experience managing contractors and stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a regional, site-based environment
