About the Role
Join a multidisciplinary hospital team delivering clinical pharmacy services across Darwin and Alice Springs. You will work closely with medical and nursing teams to support safe medication use, managing a diverse caseload in a high-exposure clinical environment. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in regional healthcare while expanding your expertise in ward-based services, patient counselling, and multidisciplinary care.
Duties
Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy services across hospital departments
Perform dispensing, compounding, and comprehensive medication reviews
Provide expert patient counselling and medicines information
Supervise and support pharmacy interns, students, and junior staff
Participate in clinical rotations and rostered services to ensure service continuity
Ensure strict compliance with Australian safety and quality standards
Skills & Experience
Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent (essential)
Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience (essential)
Current AHPRA Registration (or eligibility to obtain prior to commencement)
Strong clinical knowledge and multidisciplinary communication skills
Cultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse communities
Note: Candidates in the final stages of an Australian internship may be considered.
