We are a busy stone fabrication business on the Gold Coast specializing in residential and commercial benchtops. We are looking for a CNC / Bridge Saw Operator with experience in AutoCAD drafting and CNC programming to join our factory team.

The role

• Operating CNC router and bridge saw for stone benchtop fabrication
• Preparing DXF drawings in AutoCAD from measurements and job sheets
• Programming CNC jobs and managing cutting sequences
• Loading, unloading and handling stone slabs safely
• Reading drawings, cut lists and production schedules
• Basic machine setup, tool changes and daily maintenance
• Working closely with factory and installation teams to meet deadlines

What we’re looking for

• Experience operating CNC machines and/or bridge saws (stone industry preferred)
• AutoCAD experience for drafting stone benchtop drawings (DXF)
• Ability to program CNC machines or willingness to learn
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Forklift ticket is an advantage but not essential

Important

This is a hands-on factory role combining machine operation and drafting/programming.
If you’re not comfortable working on the machines daily, this role will not be suitable.
