Build the commercial architecture behind Australia’s first High Speed Rail program. This is one of the most commercially significant rail opportunities currently available in Australia.
We are seeking a Commercial Director to help shape the contract model, partner structure and delivery framework for the turnkey railway systems package on Australia’s first High Speed Rail program.
This role is being engaged during the formative stage of the program, with the opportunity to influence commercial strategy before key delivery and contractual decisions are finalised. You will join a global rail technology and infrastructure leader pursuing the full turnkey railway systems scope for Australia’s first High Speed Rail network. The scope is broad, technically complex and strategically critical, covering rolling stock, ETCS signalling, communications, ticketing, security, tunnel ventilation and wider fire and life safety systems. This is not a downstream contract administration role.
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will help define how the program is commercially structured from day one across JV partners, suppliers, subcontractors, delivery entities and client-side interfaces. The role will work closely with executive stakeholders across project delivery, partner organisations and bid leadership.
This is an opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s most significant transport infrastructure programs and help establish the commercial foundations for future high-speed rail delivery nationally.
