We are partnering with a leading private radiology practice seeking highly skilled and versatile Consultant Radiologists. This is a premium opportunity for a qualified specialist to join a collaborative, high-volume practice that prioritises clinical excellence and referrer engagement.
The successful candidate will be offered a highly competitive salary package well above industry standard, reflecting the seniority and autonomy this role demands. Both general and sub-specialisation radiologists are encouraged to apply.
Mandatory Qualification Criteria
The employing practice has strict clinical governance requirements regarding supervision. To be considered, you must hold one of the following:
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR)
RANZCR Area of Need Assessment with a determination of Level 3 Supervision or Level 4 (Independent)
Please note: We are unable to proceed with candidates assessed as requiring Level 1 or Level 2 supervision for this mandate. However, you are welcome to register your interest with us and we can help identify a pathway forward for you.
For UK and Ireland Trained Radiologists
An expedited specialist registration pathway for diagnostic radiology is expected to open in the near future, making the transition to practising in Australia significantly more straightforward. If you hold FRCR and are considering a move, we would welcome a conversation about how this pathway could work for you.
Clinical Responsibilities
You will provide high-quality reporting and procedural care across a comprehensive range of modalities. The role requires a generalist-plus approach: confidence in general reporting with the ability to champion a sub-specialty.
Professional and Cultural Fit
The ideal candidate is a clinician who values collaboration, communication, and continuous learning.
Collaborative Practice: You enjoy working alongside peer radiologists and maintain an open-door approach to consultation and second opinions.
Referrer and Patient Engagement: You act as an ambassador for the practice, communicating complex findings clearly to referring doctors and providing compassionate care to patients.
Education and Leadership: You demonstrate a willingness to participate in clinical meetings, education sessions, and the training of technical staff and registrars.
