Alice Springs practice requires a Full Time Permanent Dentist to take over an existing busy role.

FIFO will also be considered as an option to job share with the Senior FIFO Dentist (Owner), who travels from W.A.

We have no preferred provider arrangements.

The position is Full Time, Monday to Friday. No weekend work required. Hours are 8.15am (morning huddle), first patient at 8.30am and working through to 4.30pm with 1 hour lunch break. Perfect hours for that important work/life balance.

We welcome interest from Dentists with all levels of experience, however, the ability to work independently is preferred. The principal dentist is available to refer to, within the practice, to seek a second opinion, if needed.

Suitable candidates must have a friendly, caring chairside manner and be able to work as part of a professional, cohesive team. You will need to have good all round general dental skills and be able to diagnose dental pain, treat emergencies confidently, including endodontic treatment and extractions.

We offer everything from general, to cosmetic dentistry, Endodontics to Clear Correct Aligners, Wisdom teeth extraction to implant placement and restoration.

You will have the opportunity to perform all areas of dentistry. Your overall skills will go through the roof and commitment to excellence is expected.

Skills in Aligner Therapy would be welcomed, but not essential. This treatment is available and offered to our patients.

Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to clearly explain treatment options and plans with patients. Mentoring is offered as required and training is available to turbo charge your diagnosis and treatment planning skills. The training offered heavily relies on PrimeSpeak skills and patients are accordingly offered ideal and tailored treatment plans.

You will be coached and expected to learn the fine skills to help patients understand their oral condition and then unlock them wanting to take action.

You will need to be willing to collaborate and refer patients within our team and use your time efficiently. Our surgeries are well equipped and well stocked.

Dentists will need to be willing to use existing equipment and materials. We are a well established practice, having been 30 years in the area and with a great reputation for patient satisfaction. We have highly trained, dedicated, and mature staff. Our surgeries offer Digital technology with the Trios Scanner.

Our large patient base are friendly, very loyal, and easy going dental patients and we have a high flow of new patients and an active recall system. In addition to the friendly locals you will meet incredibly interesting people who are working or travelling in the region. As a team we are proud to be able to offer comprehensive care to most of our patients.

You will have an ample supply of existing and new patients, emergencies and toothaches to build your own busy books quickly.

Remuneration 40% commission. (A tailored package can be discussed for more experienced practitioners)

An incentive remuneration can be discussed with more experienced candidates.
