About the Role
As a Dietitian you will deliver medical nutrition therapy across a varied clinical caseload. You will assess nutritional status, design and monitor intervention plans, and work with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualised medical nutrition therapy plans
Manage caseloads across diabetes, renal, oncology, gastroenterology, paediatrics, and aged care
Assess and manage malnutrition, including enteral and parenteral nutrition support
Develop texture-modified diet plans in collaboration with speech pathology
Deliver group education and community nutrition programmes
Review menus and food service systems in hospital and aged care settings
Document interventions and monitor outcomes against agreed clinical goals
Contribute to multidisciplinary ward rounds and case conferences
To Qualify, You Must Have:
Bachelor or Master degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised institution
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience
Eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia, including overseas qualification assessment where required
Clinical experience in acute, aged care, or community dietetics
Current registration or licence to practise in your home jurisdiction, in good standing
English language proficiency meeting the relevant board and Department of Home Affairs requirements
Ability to provide passport, police clearances, employment references, academic transcripts, and professional registration evidence for the skills assessment and visa process
