Dual-Qualified Sonographer – Full Time / Part Time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dual-Qualified Sonographer to join our growing medical imaging team.

This role is ideal for a sonographer who is credentialed in two or more ultrasound specialties and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive clinical environment.

About the Role

You will perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations while working collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and healthcare staff. The successful candidate will be confident working independently and committed to maintaining excellent clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations
• Produce accurate and timely imaging documentation
• Provide compassionate patient care and communication
• Maintain equipment and adhere to clinical protocols
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications

• Accredited sonography qualification
• Current ASAR accreditation (or eligibility)
• Must have current ASAR accreditation at the time of application
• Dual qualification in two or more of the following:
  • General ultrasound
  • Vascular ultrasound
  • Echocardiography
  • Obstetric & Gynaecological ultrasound
  • Musculoskeletal ultrasound
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical sonography experience
• Experience in private practice or hospital settings
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently
