About the Role 
We are looking for an Electrician for our client who is leading a meat processing and food production business in Cooma, NSW.

• Permanent Full-time position based in Cooma, NSW
• Monday to Friday rotating roster: Morning and Afternoon Shift
• Pay rate: $40-75 per hour (depending on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Respond promptly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
• Perform fault finding, diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime
• Carry out preventative maintenance activities across plant equipment and systems
• Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately and on time
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong safety focus

About You 

• Current NSW Electrical Licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills within an industrial environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team; with strong commitment to workplace safety
• Experience within a food processing, manufacturing or production environment highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to mentor an apprentice
