We are currently seeking experienced electricians already located in Perth or Western Australia who are looking to join a growing team with a wide variety of work across multiple electrical disciplines.

At Volt Air, no two days are the same. We work across residential, commercial, solar, battery, air-conditioning, generator backup and security projects throughout Perth and regional WA.

We are looking for electricians who enjoy problem solving, working independently, and being part of a close-knit team where your work genuinely matters.

• CCTV and security installations

This role suits electricians who enjoy variety and want more than repetitive day-to-day installation work.

The Role

You will be involved in a wide range of electrical works including:

• Residential and commercial electrical installations and maintenance
• Solar PV and battery installations
• Split and ducted air-conditioning installations
• Generator backup systems
• CCTV and security system installations
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Switchboard upgrades and testing

Applicants should be confident working independently, communicating professionally with customers, and completing work safely and efficiently to a high standard.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Completed Australian Electrical Skills Assessment (TRA / Offshore Skills Assessment Program or equivalent)
• Be eligible to apply for a WA Provisional Electrical Licence
• Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience
• Strong electrical installation and fault-finding experience
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a small team environment
• Current driver’s licence preferred

Applicants who have not completed their Australian electrical skills assessment will not be considered.

Sponsorship Information

Visa sponsorship may be available for suitable electricians who are already located in Perth or Western Australia and currently progressing through the Australian electrical licensing pathway.

Offshore applicants will not be considered at this time.
