About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will support the health, comfort and wellbeing of aged-care residents by providing person-centred nursing care in accordance with professional standards, resident care plans and the direction of Registered Nurses. The role involves working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, personal care workers and other team members to deliver safe, respectful and high-quality care to residents.

Key Selection Criteria
1. Qualifications and Compliance
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
Valid National Police Check dated within two months, or willingness to obtain one
Current right to work in Australia, or eligibility for employer sponsorship where applicable
2. Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing or aged-care role
Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and respond appropriately to residents' changing care needs
Strong communication, clinical documentation and reporting skills
Ability to support safe care delivery in collaboration with Registered Nurses and care team members
Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and respectful resident engagement
3. Technical Proficiency
Familiarity with aged-care software systems
Sound understanding of occupational health and safety, infection control and compliance requirements
Ability to maintain accurate records in line with workplace policies and clinical standards

Duties
Assess residents' nursing care needs and assist in developing, implementing and reviewing individual care plans in line with accepted nursing practice, professional standards and Havilah's care procedures.
Deliver nursing interventions, treatments and therapies, including medication administration, wound care, clinical observations and ongoing monitoring of residents' responses to care and treatment plans.
Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and collaborate with other care team members to coordinate, document and evaluate the care provided to residents.
Support residents with health education, wellness activities and preventative care strategies that promote independence, safety, dignity and quality of life.
Assist residents with daily living and personal care needs, including hygiene, grooming, mobility, nutrition, hydration, continence care and comfort.
Provide person-centred support to residents living with dementia, complex care needs or changing health conditions, while observing and reporting any concerns to Registered Nurses.
Communicate respectfully with residents, families and representatives, providing reassurance, practical information and emotional support in relation to residents' care and wellbeing.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain ongoing professional development in accordance with professional registration and workplace requirements.
