Set among glasshouse and garden spaces in Mulgoa, The Rustic Secret Garden is a busy restaurant and event venue known for beautiful food, High Tea and celebrations of all sizes. We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team.

About the role

• Cooking for our à la carte restaurant service
• Supporting events from 20 to 200 guests, with 2–3 events most weeks
• Keeping your section prepped, clean and running smoothly during busy services
• Working with our team to keep food quality high across every plate
• Following food safety standards in our Halal-certified kitchen

What you’ll need

• Proven experience as a chef in a busy commercial kitchen
• Confident on at least 2 of these 3 sections:
• Pasta
• Grill
• Woodfire pizza
• A reliable car and current driver’s licence. We are not close to public transport, so this is essential.
• Availability on weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work calmly under pressure during peak service and events
• Full working rights in Australia
