We strongly encourage applications from experienced Rubber Liners currently working in Australia, including those who have developed their skills through hands-on industry experience rather than formal trade qualifications.
The Role
As a Rubber Liner, you will perform industrial rubber lining work within our Welshpool workshop.
Typical duties include:
Surface preparation and rubber application
Hot and cold rubber lining of industrial equipment
Rubber lining of pipes, tanks, chutes, hoppers and similar equipment
Conveyor pulley lagging and repairs
Conveyor maintenance and associated rubber works
Rubber fabrication and installation
Interpreting drawings and completing quality work
Operating workshop tools and equipment safely
Workshop and occasional site-based lining work
Maintaining clean and organised work areas
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates who meet one of the following:
Experienced Rubber Liners
We strongly encourage applications from experienced Rubber Liners working in Australia, even without formal qualifications.
You should have:
At least 12 months of relevant Australian rubber lining experience
Proven hands-on rubber lining capability
Experience working in industrial environments
Essential Requirements
Experience in industrial rubber lining
White Card
Current Driver’s Licence
Strong commitment to safety
Physically fit for manual work
You must be able to pass:
Pre-employment medical
Drug & alcohol screening
National Police Clearance
Tickets — Preferred or Willing to Obtain
The following are advantageous but not essential:
Forklift Licence
Overhead crane experience
Working at Heights
Confined Space
Support may be provided to obtain required tickets.
