JAX Tyres & Auto Craigieburn is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter or qualified Motor Mechanic to join our friendly and professional team in a permanent full-time position.

We are a busy, family-owned and operated franchise store, proudly part of the JAX Tyres & Auto network of over 90 stores across Australia.

As part of a nationally recognised and trusted automotive brand, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service, high-quality workmanship and a strong commitment to safety.

You'll be working in a clean, modern and fully equipped workshop, supported by approachable management and a team that values reliability, teamwork and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Service Manager, your duties will include:

• Tyre fitting, balancing, repairs and replacements.
• Performing accurate wheel alignments.
• Safely operating vehicle hoists and workshop equipment.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and road tests as required.
• Completing assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in tyre fitting, wheel alignments or automotive mechanical work.
• Relevant trade qualifications for Motor Mechanic applicants.
• High standards of workmanship and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team.
• Current driver's licence.
• Full Australian working rights, unless eligible for employer-sponsored employment.

Wheel alignment experience will be highly regarded.
