About the Opportunity

Opal HealthCare is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Registered Nurses interested in sponsorship opportunities across our regional Care Communities in:

• New South Wales
• Victoria
• Queensland
• South Australia
• Western Australia

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care, supporting residents to live with dignity and independence, and contributing to positive outcomes for residents, families and team members.

What You'll Do

• Deliver safe, effective and person-centred clinical care
• Complete resident assessments, care planning and clinical documentation
• Administer medications and monitor resident health outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, residents and families
• Support and mentor care team members to deliver exceptional care
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for sponsorship opportunities, applicants must:

• Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse. Applicants relying solely on overseas nursing experience must have gained this experience within the last 5 years. Previous Registered Nurse experience in Australia will be highly regarded
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Have excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Be committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
• Be willing to work in regional locations across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, police check and NDIS Worker Screening Check

Highly Regarded

• Experience working in residential aged care
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Experience leading or mentoring clinical teams
