We are currently recruiting for Metal Fabrication Tradesperson to be based at our Cowra fabrication workshop.

We suspect you will have grown through the ranks within a steel fab manufacturing business previously and now looking for a more leadership responsibilities to showcase your skills.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• All aspects of Metal Fabrication tasks which a qualified tradesperson is skilled to achieve.
• Fabricate to production design work packs issued for each new job
• Review processes to minimize risk and deliver profitable project outcomes.
• Coaching and mentoring of our fabrication apprentices
• Ensuring safe work practices and legislative compliance is being achieved particularly with regard to work health & safety.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Trade qualifications - Fabrication/Welder - Certificate III minimum
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Have a natural leadership style where the team will respect your approach.
• Have 5+ years’ experience working within a fabrication manufacturing business.
• Have confident people management skills to lead a combination of direct and indirect reports.
• Have the ability to work under pressure and resilient to juggle the competing priorities.

As a person you will:

• Be a disciplined individual who has a ‘can do’ solutions client approach.
• Demonstrate a high level of initiative and personal drive.

Relocation support is negotiable for the right candidate.

This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary package dependent on skills and experience between $85000 and $100000 + superannuation

The position is located in Cowra NSW.
