About the Role

We are seeking First Class Machinists experienced in operating manual lathes, CNC lathes, and machining centres. You’ll be joining a high-performing team delivering specialised components for mission-critical industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Okuma or equivalent)
• Interpret technical drawings and select appropriate materials and tooling
• Assemble metal components with a focus on accuracy and service excellence
• Operate and maintain manual machining equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification in Metal Machining or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience post-trade in machining
• Experience operating Okuma lathes or machining centres, including One-Touch programming
• Forklift (LF Class) licence preferred
• Australian Driver’s Licence preferred
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Full work rights in Australia (Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate)
