New Way Logistics is a fast-growing Australian logistics company specialising in third-party warehousing and transportation solutions. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our Sydney branch.

Driver / Fleet Coordination

1. Coordinate driver rosters, daily task allocation and operational requirements.
2. Monitor driver attendance, performance and compliance with company procedures.
3. Assist with driver training, documentation and ongoing compliance requirements.
4. Coordinate vehicle availability, maintenance requirements and operational issues.

Operations & Dispatch

1. Coordinate daily transport schedules, vehicle allocation and delivery operations.
2. Communicate with customers, drivers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
3. Monitor delivery progress and assist with delays, breakdowns and other operational issues.
4. Update operational systems and ensure transport information is recorded accurately and on time.

Warehouse Coordination

1. Coordinate daily warehouse activities, workflow and labour requirements.
2. Assist with monitoring warehouse productivity, work quality, inventory accuracy and site standards.
3. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders, receiving, dispatch and other warehouse activities are completed on time.
4. Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping and operational procedures are followed.

Team & Site Coordination

1. Coordinate daily activities between warehouse and transport teams, including casual and temporary workers.
2. Assist with staff allocation, attendance monitoring and day-to-day operational support.
3. Provide clear instructions and practical support to staff to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
4. Work closely with Management, Sales, Customer Service, Finance and HR to support overall business operations.

Experience

1. Previous experience in warehouse operations, transport operations, logistics or 3PL is preferred.
2. Experience in vehicle scheduling, transport dispatch or logistics coordination is highly regarded.
3. Experience working with warehouse or transport teams is preferred.
4. Candidates with strong operational experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

 Licences & Practical Skills

1. Current Forklift Licence is highly preferred.
2. Heavy Vehicle Licence is highly regarded.
3. Willing to be hands-on and actively involved in warehouse and transport operations when required.
4. Good understanding of day-to-day logistics, warehouse and transport operations.

Other Skills

• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work with different types of staff and communicate instructions clearly.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  Work Location: Wetherill Park, Sydney NSW

  Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; 1-hour lunch break
