Our client is recruiting an experienced Head Chef and an additional Chef to join their busy, successful hospitality venue in beautiful Tasmania, Australia.

This is an outstanding opportunity for chefs from the UK, Ireland, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada and overseas who are looking to relocate to Australia and build a long-term career.

Applications are welcomed from candidates already in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417/462) as well as experienced international chefs requiring SID Visa Sponsorship.

Head Chef Position

As Head Chef, you’ll lead all aspects of the kitchen operation while maintaining exceptional food quality, developing your team and driving operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring the kitchen brigade
• Managing kitchen operations and daily service
• Menu execution using premium local ingredients
• Food costing and labour management
• Kitchen rostering
• Stock ordering and inventory control
• Maintaining HACCP and food safety standards
• Training and developing chefs and apprentices
• Working closely with senior management to deliver exceptional customer experiences

Chef Position

Our client is also seeking an experienced Chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and is passionate about producing exceptional food.

This role offers excellent opportunities to develop your culinary skills while working with fresh Tasmanian seafood and seasonal local produce.
