The Role
Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's fleet remains safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing, servicing and repairing heavy vehicles, trucks and trailers.
• Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
• Repairing engines, transmissions, drivelines, steering, suspension and braking systems.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring compliance with all safety and roadworthy standards.
• Completing service reports and workshop documentation accurately.
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to minimise fleet downtime.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent).
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• The ability to interpret technical manuals and workshop documentation.
• A commitment to producing quality workmanship.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Current Australian driver's licence (HR or HC licence highly regarded).
