We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Venue Manager to lead the operations of one of our premium dining venues.
This role is responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating the overall operations of the restaurant to ensure exceptional customer service, strong financial performance and full compliance with legislative and company requirements.
The successful candidate must be a strong leader with good communication skills who is comfortable leading and inspiring the team.
What will you be responsible for?
Managing the day-to-day operations of the venue (Bar and Restaurant)
Leading, training and developing a high-performing team
Preparing and managing staff rosters in line with business needs
Monitoring labour costs and achieving financial targets
Managing budgets, P&L reporting and gross profit performance
Controlling stock purchasing and supplier relationships
Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, WHS and workplace legislation
Driving customer satisfaction and resolving guest concerns
Implementing marketing and promotional initiatives
Maintaining premium service and presentation standards
What do we need from you?
Minimum 2 years experience in a Venue Manager role
Strong financial and operational management experience
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and cost controls
Extensive food and beverage knowledge
Proven leadership and team development capability
Strong understanding of compliance and workplace legislation
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
