We are looking for experienced Bar/venue manager (Hotel F&B Operations) who wish to take genuine ownership of a venue with passion and treat it like their own business.  You will be advised about our hotel information if you resume is selected for interview.

This is not a passive management role. You will be accountable for venue performance, including revenue, margins, wages, team standards, guest experience, compliance and day-to-day execution. Our venue is practical, community-based and commercially focused. We are looking for candidate who can bring pride, discipline and energy to the floor while keeping a clear eye on the numbers.

Key Responsibilities

·               Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of bartenders, hosts and food runner

·               Support menu planning, wine selection and organize function/events

·               Serve customer, oversee bar operation,  reservation of hotel room, guest experience and stock take

·               Driving a culture of professionalism, energy, and hospitality at the highest standard

·               Managing ordering, cost of good, rosters, labor costs, working closely with chef and operational budgets in line with business targets

·               Ensuring compliance with all licensing, safety, and workplace requirements

·               Assist kitchen for creative ideas

·               Send report to owner about summary of admin work for each shift

·               Be co-operative and flexible with owner

·               Grow business including even/function, room occupancy etc

·               increase room occupancy and drive income growth

About you

·               1 to 2 relevant experience

·               Basic wine knowledge is required to effectively support operations

·               Need to be ready and co-operative to relocate for other business of owner if required

·               RSA certification and Approved Manager card of WA (candidate need to do this if it is not ready)

·               You are required to stay at the assigned hotel accommodation for the duration of your employment, unless instructed otherwise

·               Need to have knowledge of  point of sale system (PoS) and reservation of hotel room and able to advice us to improve PoS and reservation system

·               Stock take knowledge
