We are seeking a Japanese speaking Field Service Technician for our client, a global machinery manufacturer based in Baulkham Hill. This is a rare opportunity to join a respected international organisation known for its innovative technology and strong customer focus. Responsibilities
In this hands on, technical position, you will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, and supporting a range of electro mechanical equipment. Full technical training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing, setting up, and fine tuning equipment at customer sites
Performing routine and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals
Providing end user support, training, and guidance both face to face and remotely
Preparing service notes, test results, and technical records after each job
Working with overseas engineers and technical specialists to resolve escalated matters
Participating in equipment testing and improvement activities at the local workshop
Travelling to customer sites across Australia and occasionally to nearby international locations
Your Profile
Ability to read electrical schematics
Strong technical problem solving skills
A service-oriented mindset with the confidence to work independently at customer sites
High attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
Good communication skills in both English and Japanese
Competency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Capability to follow structured processes and documentation standards
Minimum Requirements
Full Australian or Japanese driver's licence
Australian permanent residency OR valid Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa
