We are seeking a Japanese speaking Field Service Technician for our client, a global machinery manufacturer based in Baulkham Hill. This is a rare opportunity to join a respected international organisation known for its innovative technology and strong customer focus. Responsibilities

In this hands on, technical position, you will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, and supporting a range of electro mechanical equipment. Full technical training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing, setting up, and fine tuning equipment at customer sites
• Performing routine and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
• Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals
• Providing end user support, training, and guidance both face to face and remotely
• Preparing service notes, test results, and technical records after each job
• Working with overseas engineers and technical specialists to resolve escalated matters
• Participating in equipment testing and improvement activities at the local workshop
• Travelling to customer sites across Australia and occasionally to nearby international locations

Your Profile

• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Strong technical problem solving skills
• A service-oriented mindset with the confidence to work independently at customer sites
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
• Good communication skills in both English and Japanese
• Competency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Capability to follow structured processes and documentation standards

Minimum Requirements

• Full Australian or Japanese driver's licence
• Australian permanent residency OR valid Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa
• The company is open to considering employer sponsorship for the right candidate
• Japanese language skills (business level)
