As a result of company’s continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a Machinist join our Port Hedland Workshop.
About the Role
The position will be workshop based. As the successful candidate you will have extensive experience with manual machines turning, milling, horizontal borer, heavy duty lathes, also experience on CNC lathes.
Visa sponsorship may be considered for suitable candidates who meet role, performance, and compliance requirements. Candidates seeking sponsorship must be currently residing in Australia and have valid working rights at the time of application.
Candidates currently holding a TSS 482 visa are welcome to apply as Visa transfer/sponsorship available
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
Australian recognised trade qualification.
Experience on manual lathes and milling machines
Machinist/Turning experience
Previous work experience in engineering workshop
Good understanding of engineering drawings
Experience on horizontal borers and heavy-duty lathes (advantage but not compulsory)
Ability to obtain a Police Clearance
