Lignum Trading Pty Ltd is a growing trading and supply business operating across regional Western Australia. We are seeking a competent and motivated Management Accountant to support financial planning, reporting, compliance, and operational decision-making across multiple business locations. Key Responsibilities:
Preparing monthly management reports and analysing financial performance
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Monitoring financial outcomes against business plans and targets
Providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Supporting internal financial controls and compliance systems
Analysing operational costs and identifying efficiency opportunities
Preparing cash-flow projections and performance reports
Assisting with BAS preparation and taxation reporting requirements
Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and advisors
Supporting financial oversight across multiple operational locations in regional WA
Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in a Management Accountant or similar role Strong analytical, reporting, and organisational skills Experience using accounting software and financial reporting systems Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be flexible and willing to travel and work across different operational worksites within regional Western Australia as required
