Maintenance Fitter - Fixed PlantCirca $150K + Super | Overtime on Top | Visa Sponsorship Available
Are you a qualified Mechanical Fitter looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential, a lifestyle-friendly roster and the possibility of visa sponsorship?
We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a busy industrial operation, working across critical fixed plant and production equipment.
With a circa $150,000 + superannuation base salary, overtime available on top, and a roster that provides extended periods of time off, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

The Roster
The position operates on a structured 12-hour rotating roster:
Day Shift: 5:00am - 5:00pm
Night Shift: 5:00pm - 5:00am
3-Week Rotation
Week 1:
2 days on → 3 nights on → 2 days off
Week 2:
2 days off → 3 days on → 2 nights on
Week 3:
5 days off → 2 days on
The roster offers an excellent work-life balance, including a 5-day block of time off every three weeks.

The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of fixed plant and production equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventative and planned maintenance
• Mechanical breakdown maintenance
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Equipment repairs, servicing and overhauls
• Identifying and resolving recurring mechanical issues
• Supporting plant reliability and continuous improvement
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams
• Completing maintenance records and documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
• Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, processing, mining, industrial or similar environments
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance
• A strong commitment to safety
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
