An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Methods Manager to join a leading international contractor delivering a major data centre project in Sydney.
The Methods Manager will be responsible for developing construction methodologies, sequencing and build strategies, working closely with design, engineering, project management and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop construction methodologies, sequencing and build strategies.
Lead planning of temporary works, including cranes, scaffolding, shoring, access and lifting plans.Review designs for buildability and constructability.
Develop and review method statements and work procedures.
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical challenges.
Support construction planning, risk management and programme optimisation.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost and programme performance.
Requirements
10+ years proven experience as a Methods Manager, Construction Engineer or similar within the data centre sector.
Strong experience delivering large-scale/hyperscale data centre projects.
Experience with construction methodology, sequencing and temporary works.
Strong understanding of buildability, lifting operations and construction logistics.
Experience working with design, engineering and subcontractor teams.
