Registered Midwife

An exciting opportunities are available for experienced and enthusiastic Registered Midwives to join a dedicated and compassionate Women’s Health team within modern private hospitals in Sydney.

You will be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team of doctors, midwives, nurses and support staff who are committed to delivering exceptional care to women and their families across the full continuum of maternity services.

About the role

As a Registered Midwife, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-based care to women and newborns. You will work across a range of midwifery settings and actively contribute to positive patient experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based midwifery care across the maternity journey
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Providing a high standard of customer-focused care to women and families
• Ensuring patient, newborn and staff safety at all times
• Upholding professional, ethical and clinical standards

Essential criteria

• Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a midwife
• Minimum 2 year post-graduate midwifery experience
• Demonstrated experience across all areas of midwifery, including:

• Antenatal care
• Postnatal care
• Labour & Delivery
• Special Care Baby Unit
• Outpatients
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Professional, respectful and compassionate approach to care
