The Role:

• Provide interventions to participants living with various disabilities in accordance with the needs of the business.
• Ensure a high standard of clinical care congruent with the values of Access Foundation.
• Developing plans and reports required for NDIS plans.A
• therapist to work with people across all walks of life to provide a range of supports and services to NDIS participants, including:
• Assistive technology (aids and equipment)
• Home modifications
• Assessment of personal support needs (personal care)
• Housing assessments for participants requiring Specialist Disability Accommodation
• Orientation and mobility training
• Mental Health Well-being
• The whole life of personal planning

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• Full relevant registration
• Excellent knowledge of evidence-based practice within the area of the relevant field.
• Awareness of the principles of person-centred practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High levels of computer literacy
• Working with Children Check
• Sound Knowledge of the NDIS (Training provided)
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module (Quality, Safety, & You)
• NDIS Worker Screening check (will cover a police clearance)
• Full Driving License
