Onsite Motel Manager

Location: Lakes Entrance, VIC
Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the motel, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and enquiries.
• Ensure high standards of guest service and promptly resolve complaints and issues.
• Coordinate and supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and property presentation.
• Manage room availability, occupancy levels, and online booking platforms.
• Monitor operational performance and provide regular reports to owners/management.
• Recruit and supervise cleaning staff, ensuring a productive and professional work environment.
• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, fire regulations, and company policies.
• Foster positive relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Ability to live and work onsite in Lakes Entrance, Victoria.
• Strong English communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organisational skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Previous motel, hotel, accommodation, or hospitality management experience.
• Experience with reservation or property management systems (e.g. PMS).
• Experience managing housekeeping teams, guest reviews, suppliers, and property operations.
