TUFWRAP AUSTRALIA · FULL-TIME
Operations Lead
A hands-on leadership role for someone ready to deliver exceptional work, build lasting client relationships, and grow with a business operating at the forefront of containment and preservation.
Full-time | Visa sponsorship available | Open to Australian, UK & NZ applicants | Competitive salary + incentives
ABOUT US
Tufwrap is an international leader in containment and preservation — we don't just apply solutions, we manufacture them. With offices in Australia, Singapore and Korea, we operate across some of the most demanding industrial and construction environments in the Asia-Pacific region.
We’re a tight team with a serious reputation. We’re looking for an Operations Lead — based in Australia or relocating from the UK or New Zealand — who wants to be part of building what comes next, not just running what already exists.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
Lead operations on the ground
This is a hands-on role. You'll coordinate field teams, oversee the application of containment and preservation systems, and be accountable for quality on every project you lead.
Build and own client relationships
You'll be a trusted face of Tufwrap with clients — not just on site, but in the room. Developing relationships, understanding client needs, and representing our standards at every touchpoint.
Bridge the gap between field and client
Translate what's happening on the ground into clear client communication — managing expectations, solving problems early, and building trust that turns a project into a long-term partnership.
Build systems that scale
Help us go from a great small team to a great bigger one — improve how we operate, onboard, and deliver across multiple offices and regions.
Work directly with leadership
Feed into strategy, raise problems early, and have real input into the direction of the business across our international operations.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Background that fits
› Trades, construction or industrial operations
› Scaffolding, roofing, site or containment work
› Client-facing experience in a service or trade business
› Proven team leadership (any size)
The person, not the resume
› Wants to commit, not just contribute
› Comfortable and effective with clients
› Proactive — sees problems before they happen
› High standards, low ego
› Equally at home on site and in a meeting room
WHAT THIS ROLE BECOMES
We're not filling a fixed box on an org chart. We're hiring someone who'll help define what that chart looks like as we grow — across Australia and internationally.
Build the team
Recruit and shape the crew beneath you
Grow the client base
Turn site relationships into long-term accounts
Real influence
Input into how the business grows globally
Long-term reward
Incentives tied to what you build
VISA SPONSORSHIP & RELOCATION (INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS)
For international candidates — particularly those relocating from the UK or New Zealand — we will support a skilled worker visa application and assist with the relocation process. We’re making a long-term investment in you, and we expect the same in return.
Australian-based applicants are encouraged to apply directly. International applicants must be eligible to work in Australia or prepared to undergo the visa sponsorship process — we’ll guide you through what’s involved.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Because we sponsor the right people into this business and onto client sites, all successful candidates are required to complete:
National police check
Required for all candidates. Australian applicants will complete a national police check; international applicants must also provide an equivalent check from their home country.
Pre-employment drug & alcohol test
Standard across our business and the industries we work in. Non-negotiable.
We say this upfront because we respect your time — and ours. If you're the right person, this won't be an issue.
Ready to make the move? Tell us your story.
Skip the templated application. Whether you’re already in Australia or considering the move from the UK or New Zealand, tell us who you are, what you’ve led or built, and why a role like this appeals to you. We want to understand the person — not just the experience.
