Job description:

West Coast Renos is a small, established local business based in Karratha specialising in bathroom and kitchen renovations, full domestic and commercial renovations, and ongoing maintenance works.

We are currently looking for an experienced Painter to join our growing team.

The successful applicant will have experience in both domestic and commercial painting and be confident in all aspects of the trade including:

• Surface preparation
• Interior and exterior painting
• Spray painting and rolling
• Colour matching and product knowledge
• Plaster patching and finishing
• General maintenance painting

You should have a strong work ethic, take pride in your workmanship, and be professional when dealing with clients. As we are a small renovation company, you must also be willing to assist other trades when required and work well within a team environment.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the painting division of the business. This is an independent role, so the successful applicant must be capable of:

• Organising and managing painting jobs
• Quoting works accurately
• Managing materials and products
• Supervising and assisting other workers where required
• Maintaining high-quality finishes and job standards

Requirements:

• Minimum experience in domestic and commercial painting
• Driver’s Licence
• Ability to work safely and maintain good housekeeping standards
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug testing
• Willing to work on ABN or TFN.

Pay Rate:
$50–$60 per hour + profit share (depending on experience)

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability as required
