PIZZA CHEF - AVAILABLE FOR LEADING RESTAURANT

8 At Trinity require a Pizza Chef to join our team of 25+ staff in an iconic established restaurant.

Rotating Marana Forni Pizza Oven installed.

Are you a cutting edge and sophisticated pizza chef with the experience and pedigree to elevate our pizzas to be the best in Australia? Busy environment in a hands-on role, in a busy kitchen, serving modern Italian/Australian food.

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated team player looking to take the next step in their hospitality career at the leading hospitality venue in the Lake Macquarie region.

THE ROLE + THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

• Relevant diploma or equivalent experience required, with a minimum 2 years’ experience required in a similar position.
• Must be highly experienced specialising in pizza making
• Hand stretch dough and good knife skills
• Good knowledge and genuine interest in Italian cuisine
• You will be responsible for producing authentic pizza dough, preparing ingredients, cooking pizza to order while insuring all recipes are accurate, delivering premium products that set us apart from the rest.
• Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Can handle pressure and a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluent English and well groomed
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends. (8 at Trinity is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
