ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Manager will lead a team comprised of Production Technicians, Operators and Engineers to safely and effectively achieve manufacturing objectives in line with customer demand. In implementing lean manufacturing principles across production operations, you will ensure that targets are achieved in line with the highest standard of quality and safety regulations. The Production Manager will maintain a culture of continuous improvement, motivating direct reports and working closely with other departments to ensure engineering processes are aligned effectively.

ABOUT YOU

• Manufacturing or relevant Engineering degree background
• Production management or team leadership experience
• Professional exposure to optical loss / analysis, wavelength, light management or spectral instrumentation
• Expert knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and ISO 9000 quality management systems / standards
• The ability to effectively interpret wiring diagrams and CAD models
