Join Randstad, the world's leading recruitment company. We are known for developing high performers, promoting from within and recognising hard work. You'll be supported by market-leading tools, strong leadership and a culture that values ambition, inclusion and success.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our established Trades & Labour team in Perth.
Stepping into a delivery center with allocated national key accounts, you will focus on placing skilled trade professionals-including electricians, boilermakers, welders, and fitters. Rather than starting from scratch, your focus will be on proactive relationship building, cross-selling, and expanding Randstad's presence within established panel accounts across Western Australia. Supported by a close-knit, down-to-earth team, you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy operating on-site and in-office.
Your Responsibilities
Account Expansion & Cross-Selling: Proactively hunt and grow trade volume within allocated national key accounts across the Perth market.
Onsite Engagement: Conduct at least 5 client site visits per week to build trust, understand technical environments, and strengthen client relationships.
Candidate Sourcing: Headhunt, network, and pipeline skilled trade professionals (boilermakers, electricians, fitters, welders) across Western Australia.
End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the complete recruitment process from job qualification to site placement and candidate management.
Self-Management: Operate with high discipline, managing your own administrative compliance, pipeline data, and daily activity.
What We're Looking For
Background & Experience: 2+ years of recruitment agency experience, OR a strong commercial/account management background in ex-trades, construction supply or industrial distribution.
Relationship & Hunting Mindset: Down-to-earth, resilient, and confident connecting with site managers and industrial clients.
Tenure & Commitment: Seeking a long-term team member looking to build a stable career
Workplace Presence & Logistics: Full-time office attendance (Perth CBD), valid Australian driver's license (preference for owning your own vehicle for site visits).
Working Rights & Sponsorship: Full working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is open for eligible candidates who meet all requirements.
Benefits
Warm Key Accounts: Step directly into managing established national client accounts with active trade requirements.
Autonomy & Independence: Thriving, self-managed environment without heavy micromanagement.
Down-to-Earth Culture: Join a supportive, tight-knit, and collaborative Perth team.
Global Brand & Career Growth: Access to Randstad's global network, market-leading systems, and career development pathways.
