Kinexus is a specialist recruiter in the Defence and Federal Government space. We recruit technical ICT and engineering staff in Australia, and we're now looking to add to our experienced team at our head office in Sydney's CBD.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to source and engage candidates across the wide range of engineering or IT projects we support. This is a candidate-focused role, working with both our existing talent pool and new candidates sourced through the many methods at our disposal.

Key responsibilities:

• Sourcing and connecting with engineering professionals, particularly those with Defence backgrounds.
• Developing and maintaining a network of ex-ADF and Defence engineers.
• Identifying opportunities to connect with security cleared technical candidates across engineering disciplines.
• Building long term, trusted relationships with candidates.
• Developing a strong social media and industry presence.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

This role doesn't necessarily require recruitment experience. In fact, ex-Defence professionals often thrive with us. We're looking for someone who has:

• A confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
• Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs in a results-driven environment
• An outcome-driven mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A proactive self-motivated approach with a drive to achieve results.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

You don't need to arrive with recruitment experience, we'll help you build it.

Our dedicated Learning & Development program provides comprehensive training, supporting all new hires to continually grow in this complex and rewarding industry, supporting you to be the best you can be.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary plus commission.

Visa sponsorship may available, if you are in Australia on an existing visa we do have the ability to take this on subject to meeting the relevant visa eligibility requirements.
