ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be part of a dedicated team delivering holistic and person centered care to residents across the organisation’s aged care facilities. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary team while ensuring each resident’s individual care needs are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct resident assessments and develop tailored care plans
• Provide safe, respectful and holistic nursing care
• Administer and monitor medications
• Lead and mentor ENs and personal carers during your shift
• Collaborate with doctors and allied health staff
• Advocate for residents and promote their wellbeing
• Monitor health changes and respond with clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in health and safety initiatives

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) – essential
• AHPRA registration
• Aged care experience strongly preferred 
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Passionate about delivering resident focused care
• Postgraduate training in aged care or gerontology desirable
