The Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.

You’ll combine strong clinical capability with empathy, professionalism, and the ability to connect meaningfully with patients and families.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality nursing care in partnership with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Conducting clinical assessments and prioritising care in a busy environment
• Participating in resuscitation and emergency response activities
• Supporting patient flow and timely care delivery
• Contributing positively to a collaborative team culture

About You

You are a skilled and motivated Emergency Nurse who thrives in a dynamic setting and remains calm under pressure.

You will bring:

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an RN in an Emergency Department
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Competence in resuscitation roles including airway support, procedures, and scribe
• ETEK completed and triage competency
• Resilience, initiative, and a team-focused mindset

Desirable:

• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
• Experience in triage and advanced resuscitation roles
