About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated Float Shift Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical support across our aged care services in Busselton and Dunsborough. This flexible, fast-paced role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, teamwork, and making a real impact where it's needed most.

Reporting to the Facility Managers, you'll help maintain clinical standards and person-centred care, with a key focus on covering annual and unplanned leave across both facilities.

This full-time role spans all shifts (AM, PM, NS) across both Busselton and Dunsborough facilities and offers a lucrative hourly rate + penalties for this required flexibility.
Candidates must be willing and able to work all shift types across both facilities.

Rosters are provided a minimum of 2-4 weeks in advance.
When not covering leave, you’ll support with additional nursing duties, projects, and general operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Day to day operational management of our facilities in the beautiful location of Dunsborough and Busselton
• Rotate between residential aged care, respite and wellness services
• Ensure residents experience person-centred care and services
• Conduct assessments, care planning and clinical documentation
• Coach and support junior care staff and contribute to a positive team culture
• Maintaining accurate documentation and participate in quality initiatives
• Ensure high levels of customer service and nurture relationships with residents, families and staff
• Any additional ad-hoc business requirements.

About You

You’re a dynamic and adaptable Agency Registered Nurse with a strong sense of initiative and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Agile and independent, you excel in fast-paced environments and bring sound clinical judgment to every situation.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• A minimum of 4 years’ clinical RN experience, including at least 2 years in Aged Care.
• Experience as an Agency Registered Nurse is highly preffered.
• Flexibility & availability to work a roster including AM, PM, NS, weekends and public holidays, across both Busselton and Dunsborough facilities is essential.
• Confidence in working independently and integrating into new teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using electronic care systems (e.g. AutumnCare, iCare, LeeCare)
