About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide a high-quality nursing care within scope of practice, involving residents, their families, and the wider community to enable residents to celebrate life at every stage within their home locality.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality care to residents, managing and supervising a team of support workers, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centred optimal care with holistic outcomes,

Selection criteria

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• 3 Yrs + Nursing experience
• Rural and Remote Nursing experience highly regarded
• Aged Care experience also highly regarded
• At the Swansea facility: experience in sub-acute and emergency highly desirable or a commitment to train in this area.
• Great communication and interpersonal ability with experience working in a multidisciplinary team
• The ability to maintain documentation to a high standard
• Eligibility to work in regional Tasmania.
