An exciting opportunity for a Remote Area Nurse to work across multiple remote communities in Central Australia, with both permanent and fixed-term contracts available.
As the Remote Area Nurse, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering full scope primary health care to Aboriginal communities across the Central Australian region. Based in Alice Springs, you will be rostered to communities including Ti Tree, Willowra, Laramba, Mt Liebig, Nyirripi, Papunya, Yuendumu, Hermannsburg, Titjikala, Apatula, Kings Canyon and Harts Range.
NT Health operates primary health care clinics across remote Aboriginal communities throughout the Northern Territory, making this a genuine opportunity to make an impact in an underserved and clinically complex environment.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing
Current registration with AHPRA
Minimum 2 years primary health care experience
Experience working in rural and remote communities
Hold Advanced Life Support & Triage
