About the role

You’ll lead daily front-of-house operations, working closely with the kitchen team to deliver organised, attentive service. This is an opportunity to take ownership, contribute your ideas and make a meaningful impact on the restaurant’s success.

Key responsibilities

* Lead service from the floor, ensuring every guest feels welcome and well looked after.

* Recruit, train and develop a professional front-of-house team.

* Manage rosters, labour costs and staffing requirements.

* Oversee stock control, purchasing and ordering.

* Coordinate bookings, group dining and functions.

* Work closely with the kitchen to maintain clear communication and smooth service.

* Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally.

* Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and food safety.

About you

* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a comparable hospitality leadership role.

* Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine styles and food-and-wine pairing is essential.

* A hands-on leadership style, with the ability to motivate and support your team.

* Strong organisational skills and a sound understanding of restaurant costs.

* A calm, confident approach during busy services.

* A genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and consistent service.

* Availability to work evenings and weekends.

* A current Queensland RSA, or willingness to obtain one before commencing.

* Valid Australian work rights, or eligibility for an appropriate sponsored visa.
