An AAC user communicating with their family for the first time. Yesterday it was someone completely different. That's the thing about this caseload - you helped shape it. Paediatrics, youth, adults - whatever lights you up clinically, there's a place for it here.

By lunch you're back at the hub. Someone's brought snacks (there are always snacks). A colleague asks for your thoughts on a language assessment. You grab a coffee, talk it through, and feel that quiet satisfaction of working somewhere that actually invests in getting it right.

You wrap the week knowing your admin is handled via an AI-powered health scribe to cut down non-billable tasks so you can focus on what you actually came here to do. The Role
Full-time | Part-time (4 days) | 9-day fortnight available

• Deliver community-based speech pathology assessments and interventions for NDIS participants
• Work across diverse real-life settings - homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres
• Tailor your caseload to paediatrics, youth or adult streams based on your interests
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary allied health team of passionate clinicians
• Be supported by your Team Leader and a dedicated Speech Pathology Therapy Mentor
• Attend weekly hub team meetings - stories of impact, coffee and the occasional laugh

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech pathology assessments using evidence-based measurement tools
• Develop individualised therapy plans aligned to participant goals and NDIS funding
• Deliver functional, goal-directed therapy in community and naturalistic settings
• Build meaningful relationships with participants, families, carers and support networks
• Contribute to team meetings, case discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Maintain accurate documentation - supported by AI-powered scribing tools
• Engage actively in supervision, mentoring and professional development

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology
• Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership and practising certificate
• Valid driver's licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Positive, flexible approach and strong communication skills
• Commitment to personal and professional development

Experience within NDIS or disability services is preferred but not essential.You're Probably the Right Person If...
