Aged Care | Perth Metro WA (South of the River Sites) | Team Lead Opportunity (50/50 Clinical + Leadership)
Mars Healthcare are currently representing a highly regarded aged care provider across multiple Perth Metro sites (South of the River locations) who are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join their multidisciplinary team on a full-time permanent basis only.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician with a strong interest in dysphagia management, who is either currently working in a team leader role or looking to step into a position that offers structured leadership responsibilities alongside a strong clinical caseload.
The role is split 50/50 between clinical work and team leadership, making it ideal for someone ready to step up while still maintaining meaningful hands-on patient care.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in supporting aged care residents with communication and swallowing (dysphagia) needs, while also contributing to team leadership and service development.
You will:
Manage a dysphagia-focused clinical caseload within aged care
Conduct assessments and develop individualised management plans
Support residents with communication and swallowing disorders
Provide clinical guidance and leadership support to the team
Contribute to service delivery, quality improvement and team development
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary aged care environment
About You
Degree in Speech Pathology and current SPA registration
Strong experience in dysphagia management (essential)
Previous team leader experience OR readiness to step into leadership
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary aged care setting
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination
Full Australian working rights (sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate)
