About the role

Royal Stone is a growing stone fabrication company based in Smithfield, NSW. We are seeking skilled team members for Stone Check Measurer, Bridge Saw Operator, and Stone Fabricator positions.

Key responsibilities

Stone Check Measurer:

• Carry out accurate site measurements for stone benchtops and other stone projects
• Read and interpret plans and drawings
• Check site conditions and identify potential installation issues
• Prepare accurate measurements and templates for production
• Liaise with builders, installers and the production team

Bridge Saw Operator:

• Operate bridge saw machinery to cut natural stone, porcelain and engineered stone
• Read cutting lists, drawings and job specifications
• Set up and safely operate machinery
• Ensure all cuts are accurate and meet production requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Stone Fabricator:

• Fabricate and finish stone benchtops, vanities and other stone products
• Cut, polish, edge and finish stone to a high standard
• Work with natural stone, porcelain and engineered stone
• Use hand tools and stone fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
• Check finished work for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organised work area

About you

• Previous experience in the stone industry
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
• Relevant experience with site measuring, bridge saw operation or stone fabrication
• Australian work rights are preferred
