URGENT – Experienced Indian Chef, Naan/Tandoor Experience Preferred – Melbourne CBD

We are an established Indian restaurant/cafe located near Southern Cross Station, Melbourne CBD, and we are looking for an experienced, reliable and trustworthy Chef to join our team as soon as possible.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in an Indian restaurant/kitchen
• Strong tandoor experience – naan, kulcha etc.
• Good knowledge of Indian curries, gravies, chaat, savouries and traditional dishes
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Good understanding of food safety, stock control and kitchen organisation
• Able to work well with and support the kitchen team
• Most importantly, someone loyal, dependable and looking for a long-term position
