Requirements

• Generally, you will need a minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience and formal trade qualifications (like an apprenticeship or NVQ).
• You will need to achieve the required minimum score on an approved English test (e.g., IELTS, PTE, or OET -equivalent to IELTS 6.0 in all four components)
• Trades (like Electricians, Plumbers, and Air-Conditioning mechanics) require local, state-based licenses. Even if your visa is approved, you may need to complete an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) and undertake gap training in Australia before you can work legally
