Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre (MVSC) is looking for a board‑certified specialist (or a registrar close to sitting exams) to join our friendly, collaborative multidisciplinary team in Melbourne.

We operate across two Melbourne locations:

• Glen Waverley (Main Hospital)
• Essendon Fields (Dermatology only)

All Internal Medicine is based at Glen Waverley, in our purpose‑built hospital with the toys you actually want:

• Brand new high‑field MRI
• 64‑slice CT
• Full diagnostic suite supporting thorough workups and informed clinical outcomes

You’ll join an established Internal Medicine service with two experienced specialists and a resident, backed by capable, multidisciplinary specialist teams in Surgery, Dermatology and Behavioural Medicine.

You’ll be doing what you trained for — with support around you:

• Manage a varied and complex referral caseload
• Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based specialist care
• Work closely with our specialist teams across Surgery, Dermatology and Behavioural Medicine
• Help shape the ongoing growth and development of the Internal Medicine service
• Enjoy autonomy with strong support when you need it (because nobody wins medals for doing everything alone)

What We’re Looking For

• Veterinary degree registerable in Australia
• Specialist qualifications (FANZCVS, DACVIM or DECVIM) or residency completed with plans to sit exams soon
• Open to someone starting on a fixed‑term contract first, with the option to move permanent once you’ve had a proper feel for the hospital
